Lauren Crossett is a Director at the law firm of Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. who concentrates her practice in the areas of employee benefits & executive compensation. She regularly assists clients with general employee benefits matters including regulatory compliance under ERISA, PPACA (health care reform), and the Internal Revenue Code; drafting plan documents, amendments, and plan summaries for tax-qualified and welfare benefit plans; and voluntary compliance matters for qualified plans under the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor correction programs. A significant portion of Lauren’s practice is focused on providing employee benefits advice with respect to the firm’s merger and acquisition, private equity and mezzanine financing matters.
Lauren is a member of the firm’s Retirement Plans Committee and former member of the firm’s Associates Committee. She is also a member and former president of the Colgate Alumni Club of Pittsburgh and is actively involved in alumni activities in the Pittsburgh area.
Lauren received her J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Pittsburgh and her undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) from Colgate University. She lives in the Friendship area of Pittsburgh with her husband.
