Supervised Parenting and Play

The Supervised Parenting and Play program offers professional supervised visitation and structured parent training to non-custodial parents and their children ages birth – ten in a small group setting (up to 6 families per group). This program offers the unique combination of safe, consistent, nurturing and neutral setting for young children and the opportunity to learn and to practice effective parenting strategies for their parents. The program’s goal is the development of a secure and meaningful relationship between parent and child that can eventually be maintained without supervision. Parents are referred to this program from Allegheny County Children, Youth and Family Services, family court, mediators and private attorneys.
