Mac is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida, born at Good Samaritan Hospital on the intracoastal February 2nd of 1990–Groundhog Day. His mother is originally from Upper St. Clair, and his father is from Mt. Lebanon. In 1992, Mac’s family moved back to Pittsburgh. Since then, he has been a resident of Mt. Lebanon. He attended grade school at St. Bernard’s and received a great educational foundation. Mac graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School, where he was a pitcher for the baseball team.

Mac had his mind set on getting back to the beach and achieving an education in business. He enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2008, two miles from Wrightsville Beach. He enjoyed three sunny years down there. In January of his junior year at UNCW, he decided to transfer to the University of Pittsburgh. He had come full circle and realized there was no place like Pittsburgh, with its sports, culture, community and most of all, the people. Pittsburgh was where he wanted to be, and he was determined to get back.

Mac graduated from Pitt with a double major in Finance and Marketing, as well as a minor in Economics. He had internships in both the advertising and the investment banking industry. Shortly after graduating he accepted a job offer from Morgan Stanley and has been with the firm since 2013.

As for Mac’s hobbies, he enjoys staying active. He grew up playing baseball, basketball, and golf. He tries to work out at the gym a few times per week and plays golf once per weekend. Additionally, he is proud of the transformation of the City of Pittsburgh and takes advantage of all that downtown has to offer. Mac believes it is important to grow both physically and mentally on a daily basis.
